Create a list of all local accommodation providers, such as hotels, motels, backpackers, lodges and homestays. Visit the local information centre and study brochures about the above places. Have a guess at which places are the most eco-friendly. (That is; which ones try to reduce the impact of their business on the environment). Once you have listed them in order, then do some detective work and find out which ones really are good global citizens. Which ones recycle and which ones use environmentally friendly products. Which ones generate screeds of paper advertising and which ones don't. Make a new list based on your discoveries and compare the two. Present these lists via email.
