The Technology curriculum is well suited to the self-directed independent style that Homework For Success caters to. There are numerous student-designed tasks in this area as well.
Writing, reading, poetry, story telling and spelling are all aspects of the English language that thiing area deals with.
The Science Curriculum is where we find our main objectives for integrated learning in term 3 with an integrated unit on the Living World. Student designed tasks also feature strongly in this area.
Mathematics
Maths doesnt have to be about times tables and subtraction or any of those tricky concepts. Real maths problems are about selecting the right strategy and the answer may not be that important. Its getting to the answer that is.
Social Studies (a.k.a Social Sciences)
Social Studies is the curriculum area where students learn about how other people live and interact and how they "fit" with their environment and about the culture and history of peoples.
The visual arts covers sculpture, drawing, painting, basically any artforms that rely on creating concrete or abstract artefacts is visual art. There will always be some overlaps with design and technology, but we can cope with that.

R/E is a subject that throws a light on all of the good things about our fellow man. Religious education can be exactly that: learning about religion(s). Considering the huge number of people that belong to the various churches, cults and ethnic religions around the globe, understanding religion is a necessary step in gaining an understanding of our world.
There are a number of tasks in this area and at this stage, most tasks are focused on the reo,rather than on the tikanga, but that will change as more tasks are designed and submitted.
