Religious Education

This is it. These are the homework tasks. Choose one and write down what it says. Work your way through it and then hand it in to your teacher. Submit it via email if that is possible or physically give it to the teacher. Expect to be given your marks at the last assembly of term.

Task # 1 Reading

Research and compare two people who feature prominently in the Bible, but not Jesus. Find out what they did, where they lived and why they were included in the bible. Compare the actions of the two and see if you can find out what happened to them. Create a word document and then convert it to PDF and email to homework@green-planet.co.nz

Task # 2 Artworks

Research and create a list of all of the acts of healing that Jesus did. Select one that stands out for you and design a stained glass window panel that could represent it, that you could make using only black paper and coloured plastics. The colours create the details and the paper becomes the framing for the coloured "glass." Make it. Photograph it and submit the pictures via email and bring the completed model into class.

Task # 3 Design

Design and make a model that demonstrates or represents the Christian values. Remember, the Christian values are:

Faith, Honesty, Love, Reverence, Justice, Forgiveness, Hope, Self- Control and Trust.
