How do people get on with each other and with the world around them? How do we treat people from other cultures and how do we adapt to our surroundings or how do we react to the needs of others? ....

Task # 1 Research

Read as much as you can about JFK (John Fitzgerald Kennedy) and prepare a timeline powerpoint that highlights the significant events in his life. Identify why he was so popular and why some people did not want him to be successful..

(E. M. yr8)

Task # 2 Research

Make up some sort of presentation about any internationally famous person and record it via tape deck or video.

(A.L. Yr9)

Remember: No-one is "expected" to do any of these tasks.... But, if you do try some, try not to do any more than a couple each term as the focus is on quality, not quantity. Also, make sure that you allow yourself plenty of time for the tasks that you do. Thats right. You decide when you do them, how you do them and how much effort you put in.

Even if you only do one task, it will be marked with all the rest and you will be recognised for the presentation, quality and effort.

Marking will have a strong focus on quality and effort, not quantity.
