Visual arts homework tasks
Task # 1 Visual Arts
Take a photo of your favourite household pet. Cut the photo in two pieces and put one half away. Try and accurately draw the missing half. Once you have got that bit right, then swap the missing piece for the other part and complete your picture. Keep refining it until you have a recognisable sketch of your pet. Take a photo of it and submit it via email. Bring in the sketch as well.

Task # 2 Models
A trio of fun:
Select an animal that you know very little about and make a paper mache model, a word find and a mask about it.

Task # 3 Music Arts
Create some new lyrics for a favourite song. Write them down. Either perform the song with your new lyrics and record it, or simply email them as a word document and send in the document and a copy of the soundtrack.

Remember: No-one has to do any of these tasks.... But, if you do try some then try not to do any more than a couple each term, because the focus is on quality, not quantity. Also, make sure that you allow yourself plenty of time for the tasks that you do. Thats right. You decide when you do them, how you do them and how much effort you put in.
Even if you only do one task, it will be marked with all the rest and you will be recognised for the presentation, quality and effort.
